How do you make a twice baked potatos

2 True Religion Mens Jeans Idaho potatoes baked

Cut the spuds in half, scoop out the flesh and mix with butter, bacon bits, chives, salt pepper to taste

Spoon the mixture back into the potato shells, return to a 350 degree oven and bake until heated through.Top with shredded cheddar cheese and bake until cheese is melted.

She would also prepare the taters and freeze them, then thaw them and bake, adding the cheddar cheese just before serving.I don’t know if you can include sour cream in this as we’ve never been fans of sour cream in our potatoes.

I don’t know if thereIs a specific recipe anywhere, but the way i’ve always done it, learned from relatives, etc.Is:

Bake the potatoes until done.Cut in half and scoop out the white inside meat of the potato.Mash and add whatever you want to add, be it butter, salt pepper, cheese, garlic, or something that your family especially likes.Spoon this mixture back inside the scooped out shell/skin of the potatoes.Return to the oven and bake until you like the appearance of the finished product, and they are hot throughout.

Everyone in my family loves potatoes this way.Happy cooking!

Scrub, prick with fork and bake your potatoes as you would for regular baked potatoes.Remove from oven, let cool enough to handle them, and slice them down the center the long way.Scoop the inside of the potato into a bowl, leaving enough in the shell for the shell to remain viable as a vessel for the stuffing.Mash the removed potato insides with butter, and lt.Cream. I usually add a bit of chive or vegetableCream cheese as well.Refill shells, i usually”Pipe”The stuffing in with a large pastry bag with a wide star tip.Return to oven to brown off the top, for the last few minutes you can add some shredded cheese if you’d like.

I start by buying big baking potatoes and i grease the outside and bake them until they are very soft inside. Then i cool them a bit and cut them in half.I scoop out the insides and put them in a bowl.I mix in butter, sour cream, green onion tops if i don’t have chives, salt and pepper.Stir it up good. Then i replace the mixture of the insides into each potato shell, top with cheese and reheat in a low oven until they are warmed all the way through.

As to the mixture you create, put in whatever you would like to have on a baked potato. If you like chili and cheese add chili and top with cheese. If you like broccoli, steam some finely chopped broccoli to the mix.

These also reheat in the microwave very well.

After i bake the potatoes the first time, i cut them in half and then carefully scoop out the innards. It hard, and i usually end up mangling at least one of the jackets, but one of these days i will figure out a good way to do this.

Put the potato meat into a bowl and then add:

Grated cheese–A lot, in my case, because i love really cheesy potatoes.I usually use kraft extra sharp cheddar, or another mature cheddar cheese, but use whatever you like best.

Minced onion–Enough to give this some bite.

A bit of milk–Not much, just enough to make everything hang together and stay creamy.

Salt and Religionjeansuk black pepper.

Cayenne pepper if you like spicy food.

When you mashed all the ingredients together and whipped them into a smooth mixture, spoon the gunk back into the potato jackets.I usually top this with more grated cheese, bacon bits and paprika because it looks so cool.
